Cue Frank Sinatra…
Man, when I love a set I really love a set. I overshoot – it’s true. It’s because I’m obsessed with taking every moment I possibly can and turning it into art, so when Mila and I got the opportunity to shoot in a Cessna with local aviation specialists Flying High Again, we had to go wild. I styled her in a black dress she’s had in her closet for ages, with some cool accessories from the gals over at Pink Star Vintage, one of my favorite Nashville vintage dealers sold out of Pre to Post Modern.
About the plane: This one is a Cessna 172, N7363G. I don’t know much about aircraft, but I can say it was a thrill to fly in it from the John C. Tune Airport in Nashville to the Springfield Robertson County Airport. (Fun Fact – I actually grew up in Robertson County, so it was fun to fly over my hometown and visit the area for a shoot.)
