Samantha Hearn is a freelance photographer and journalist living in Nashville. She currently contributes to Noble Nashville, covering music, fashion, culture and lifestyle.
Previously, as an Associate Editor with Brentwood Home Page, Samantha reported on political races, legislation in the Tennessee House and Senate, bee population and conservation efforts, the prescription drug addiction epidemic, multi-million dollar developments and businesses, Harry Potter clubs, animal shelters, City events, you name it.
While in college at Middle Tennessee State University, Samantha was a Seigenthaler scholar, reporting for The Tennessean on drugs, gang activity, sentencings and hearings within the federal courts system. She was also the Photography Editor for MTSU Sidelines, in charge of all visual media in addition to contributing as a reporter.
She’s photographed the likes of President Barack Obama when he visited McGavock High School in 2014, Santana when he played in Nashville in 2015, and protestors at a Black Lives Matter vigil in 2016. She’s even photographed a few burlesque dancers opening a new studio in Nashville.
